Coventry City v Watford- Previously...

We've visited Coventry 39 times of which we've won 14, drawn 7 and lost 18, scoring 43 goals and conceding 62.  Our first visit to Highfield Road was back on New Year's Day 1927 when we went down 5-1.  This will be our fourth time at the Coventry Tesco that also happens to house their football team.  It is the most depressingly sponsored ground I've ever been to.  Watford fans sit in the charmingly named Jewson stand.  Our record at the Ricoh is won 2, lost 1.  If you've got a Tesco clubcard make sure you take it along as you can scan it at the turnstiles to get extra points.

Last time we were there was the penultimate weekend of last season, when we needed a point to be safe and came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 with goals from Smith, Raziak and Priskin.  This season we met them back at the end of September when our team was ravaged by injuries and a vomiting bug.  We still played well but went down 3-2, Cleverley and Hoskins scoring for us.

Coventry are currently 16th on 54 points and will finish in the bottom half of the Championship for the fourth successive season.  At home they've won 8, drawn 9 and lost 5.  However they've not won at the Ricoh since the end of February when they beat Scunny 2-1.  They've drawn their last two games 1-1, home to Preston two weeks ago and at Middlesbrough last weekend.

Jack Cork, who played for them against us in September, is no longer there on loan preferring Premiership experience with Burnley.  Their only Watford link is Assistant Manager Steve 'in a cup' Harrison.  Was that something he ever did with us or was it something he learnt at Millwall?

By the way, I might have dreamt that bit about the clubcard so I wouldn't actually bother.
